*COL AUSTIN AKOBUNDU, HON STANLEY NWABUISI and THE ABIA STATE PDP CONTINUES WARD TOUR* 

The Peoples Democratic Party, continued its LGA tour today, 30th October, 2022 with a visit to Usaka Ward, Ariam Ward, Oloko Ward 2 and Oloko Ward 1 respectively.

The team was joined by its Party Flag bearers at the various levels. Abia Central Senatorial Candidate Col. Austin Akobundu, the candidate of the Ikuwano/Umuahia North/South, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji and the candidate for Ikwuano State Constituency, Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi made the team.

While speaking, the state party chairman, Rt. Hon. Asiforo Okere, (represented by the Zonal Chairman), Hon. Chukwudi Ezebuiro preached the message of sticking emphasized on Unity as the key factor for victory.

Col. Austin Akobundu eulogized the souls of the illustrious sons of Ariam who are deceased, especially the former Executive Chairman of Ikwuano LGA, Barr. K.C Ugbuoja and Comr. Ifeanyi Mba. A one minute silence was held in honour of the departed souls. He further admonished party Faithfuls to take this Political project with all seriousness with the possibility not 5/5 victory.

Continuing the message of hope, the candidate of the Ikuwano/Umuahia North/South, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, (represented by the coordinator of the Hon. Chinedum Orji campaign council in Ikwuano, Hon. Williams Ukatu) said that PDP has never failed in Ariam and Usaka wards. He expressed confidence that they will continue to uphold this record. 

Hon. Stanley Nwabuisi while presenting his speech, expressed confidence that PDP will be victorious in Ariam and Usaka wards as always and encouraged them to remain steadfast in their course irrespective of challenges. 

The team then moved on as they toured the 2 Oloko wards with a first stop at Oloko Ward 2 which is the ward of the Incumbent House member and State House Candidate for the party, amidst a carnival-like reception with the same message of 5/5 in favor of the ever accommodating umbrella known as the PDP. 

The ward tour was rounded off at Oloko Ward 1 which also is the ward of the Party's Senatorial candidate for Abia Central, Col Austin Akobundu (Rtd).

The train included the Ikwuano PDP chairman, Deacon Obioma Igwe, and other LGA party Executives, the Executive Chairman of Ikwuano Local Government, Chief Stephen Mpamugo, the former Executive Chairman of Ikwuano LGA, Barr. Stanley Ojigbo, Chief Emeka Usuwa, Chief Uche Usuwa, Elder Henry Nwaoha, Hon. Chidi Johnson,  and other stakeholders.
