Dr Ugo Ezeribe celebrate's Col Austin Akobundu

*Celebrating Col Austin Akobundu (Rtd) on his imperial round-off of his 6 LGA Thank You Tour.*

Prior to this time, a lot had been rumoured and mused about the personality and candidacy of Col Austin Akobundu (Rtd). Many had concluded against him, within the limits of their  their myopic circles alluding many contradictory assumptions of this colossus.

From the declaration of interest to run for the Senatorial Seat of the Abia Central Zone, many had thought lightly of the chances of the former Minister with growing concerns from the grievous misconceptions concocted against him.

However, as they days go by, he continues to refute and contradict these contradictions by delivering direct opposites to these multiple allegations.

The first ever politician in this dispensation that returned after his victory at the primaries to say Thank You to the party electorate for electing him. A complete opposite to the alluded negatives framed against him. From Ward excos, to women organizations, pro - groups to individual supporters, his appreciation was felt by all.

His 6 LGA visit was a massive success with testimonies of his human capacity developments spread across the visited Local Government Councils in affirmation of the confidence bestowed on him by the party that resulted in his election at the concluded primaries.
The climax of it was at his own LGA Ikwuano, where individuals, groups and structures of various nomenclatures trooped out in their numbers to celebrate the prospective incoming Senator. He joined the gradual foot walk parade as he trekked from Nnono junction to The mercurial 5 Star La Escape Hotel.

While he is yet to have a credible opponent at the forthcoming elections, his humane and pragmatic disposition continues to refute all previous negative insinuations framed basically for image smearing and castigations in view of this political project.

At Ikwuano on the 16th of September, 2022, Dike Ako la mba underscored the agelong adage of "ako ruo, ege ruo and the timeless proposition that no "army can't stop an idea whose time has come". Colonel, like he is fondly called, your time has come indeed.

As we prepare for the official flag-off of the campaigns, i am convinced that this is the candidate to beat. He has got the prospects, the results, the connections, the disposition and the position. He has also proven most convincingly that he has also got the numbers against ill intended misinformation of the naysayers. With cross-carpet alignments and re-alingnments greeting the latest rave of this political venture, I can conclude that many will not dare in the wake of his victory.

Congratulations Col Austin Akobundu (Rtd)

Congratulations Dike ako la-mba

Congratulations to our incoming Senator.
