The Candidate of the PDP for Abia Central Senatorial district, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd) was amongst the dignitaries that graced the burial of Sir Micah Onyebuchi, former Chairman of Abia State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB) at Amuzukwu Girls Secondary School, Amuzukwu, Ibeku, Umuahia North of Abia State.

The deceased was a community leader in Amuzukwu Ibeku and also the father of the present Chief Medical Director (CMD), Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Umuahia, Professor Azubuike Onyebuchi.

His burial also attracted many dignitaries amongst whom are: Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, the Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial district, Sen T.A Orji, the former Governor of Imo State, Chief Achike Udenwa, the former Minister of State for Education, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajuba amongst others.
